Prospera Flex® Negative Pressure Wound Therapy System

A novel disposable, single-use NPWT system encompassing a device, canister, tubing, and wound dressing interface. It can be used with dressings compatible with NPWT, providing clinicians flexibility to choose the most appropriate dressing for their patients.

Prospera Flex® Negative Pressure Wound Therapy System is compatible with Lumitech™ Incisional Wound Dressings. They are available together in a Convenience Kit for ease of ordering and application.

INDICATIONS

The Prospera Flex™ system is indicated for patients who would benefit from Negative Pressure Wound Therapy as it may promote wound healing by removing low to moderate levels (< 37.5 ml/day) of exudate and infectious materials.

The Prospera Flex® NPWT System is appropriate for use across many wound varieties, including:

Chronic wounds
Acute, sub-acute and dehisced wounds
Traumatic wounds
Partial thickness burns
Pressure injuries
Venous lower extremity ulcers
Diabetic ulcers
Flaps and grafts
Closed incision sites

The Prospera Flex™ system should NOT be used in the following conditions:

Patients with malignancy in the wound bed or margins of the wound
Previously confirmed and untreated osteomyelitis
Non-enteric and unexplored fistulas
Necrotic tissue with eschar
Exposed arteries, veins, nerves or organs
Anastomotic sites
Emergency airway aspiration
Pleural, mediastinal or chest tube drainage
Surgical suction
Patients with high (> 37.5 ml/ day) exudate flow rates
On neonates, infants, or children
